One of the things that makes Home Instead different is that we’re grounded in our local community.

We think it’s really important to get to know the people who live and work in the South Manchester area, particularly those involved in helping older people live better lives.

So that’s why Alison and Kate recently spent the morning at the Fete at the Manchester Rd Methodist Church in Chorlton. They met a lot of lovely people, some interested in joining our team of brilliant CAREGivers, some there to talk about their own projects and some keen to show off their handiwork – like Lynne and Wendy with their amazing hand-crocheted quilts.

Events like this are always fun and a great way to meet new people, so if you’re organising anything similar in the South Manchester area let Alison know at [email protected] We love talking to people about what we do, especially if there’s a chance of buying a cake or two!
