We've welcomed two new recruits to our office team over the last couple of weeks.
First up is Gemma, our new Care Manager. Gemma has worked in Care for eleven years and has experience across a wide range of areas, including mental health, disability and homelessness. She left her previous role to join Home Instead, being particularly attracted by the fact that our primary goals are not financial but are focused on the quality of care we provide.
She and her partner have a son, three girls and two cats. When not at work she enjoys walking, swimming and eating out with the family. Music, live music in particular, is also a real passion and she has an ambition to drive across the U.S.A. in a convertible.
"My goal is to deliver an outstanding service, where our caregivers treat all their clients as if they were family."
Janet is the latest member of our growing office team. Her particular focus is Recruitment, managing the process of finding the dedicated, compassionate CareGivers we need to help take care of our growing number of clients.
Janet lives locally in Urmston and has a grown-up daughter and two teenage sons. She enjoys going for bike rides and eating out with the family (sausage and mash is one of her favourites). She also like to sing, having been a member of her local church choir for the last ten years. In fact vocal talent seems to run in the family as her daughter also has a splendid voice.
Janet describes herself as cheerful, kind, happy, funny and honest – all essential qualities for helping to run a very busy Care office!
