At Home Instead South Manchester, we think being part of our local community is really important.
This means employing kind hearted local people to take care of local clients but it also means being active with other people who are trying to make South Manchester a better place to live for older people in general. Alison, in particular, spends time being part of local groups, such as the Chorlton and Whalley Range Dementia Action Group, offering free Dementia Friends sessions and running events like our annual Be A Santa to A Senior campaign.
Local Exercise Classes for Seniors
She also she runs weekly Healthy Hips and Hearts sessions for local seniors. Just like anyone else, older people can really benefit from regular exercise - particularly when it’s been designed specifically with their needs in mind. Alison’s part of a network that runs similar sessions all over South Manchester so if you or anyone you know would like to find out more about taking part just give Alison a call on 0161 884 0562 or drop her an email to [email protected]
