Dementia Friendly? You Can Bank On It!

We’re a local business that likes to play a part in our local community.

That’s why Alison spent Thursday at the Natwest in Chorlton at the invitation of Christina their Manager and Angela from their Head Office. The branch was celebrating it’s relaunch with cakes, balloons and some brilliant music from Darius and his electric violin.

Alison had been invited because she’s a member of the Chorlton and Whalley Range Dementia Action Group, the local charity that Christina had chosen to support to mark their relaunch. NatWest have very generously offered to fund the Group’s first Community Event on July 6th – more of this in future news posts.

Making South Manchester Dementia Friendly

Alison spoke to lots of local residents keen to find out how they can support local people living with dementia. She also took the opportunity to spread the word about the Dementia Friends workshops she'll be running as part of Dementia Awareness Week. They're at 1p.m. on 16/5 and 6pm on 18/5 at our offices in Chorlton. We still have some places available so get in touch if you’d like to become a Friend!
