“ My whole experience of dealing with Home Instead Senior Care South Devon has been of exceptional care, efficiency, friendly and supportive staff set the wheels in motion and I am delighted with the support worker selected to look after my husband's personal care on a daily basis. Things could not have run more smoothly and our allocated "angel" is indeed a prayer answered. The level of care is second to none and I am delighted with the service provided. I cannot recommend them highly enough. ’’

I have a CAREGiver to come to visit me once a week from Home Instead. She does my main shop for the week and then we have a good chat. Both of these activities are a great contribution to my happiness and my ability to stay in my flat rather than going into a nursing home. As it happens, my CAREGiver and I find we share a lot of values of life, so I am very happy and lucky to have made this contact with Home Instead Senior Care. I am 94 now and hope to continue to stay in my flat.

My mother and I have been delighted with the service received from Home Instead Senior Care (South Devon). My Mother was initially hesitant when I first suggested getting some help but, living 200 miles away, I was keen to have someone making regular contact in person. The service is just what I had hoped for - my mother is very comfortable with her care giver and I am reassured that she is getting help from someone who is kind and thoughtful. There are regular reviews and opportunities to feedback and the office is always very responsive and helpful with any queries I may have. Very happy to recommend.

Although Home Instead are probably slightly more expensive than other agencies, the care that is provided by them is so good that to quibble about price would seem a churlish attitude to take. Without exception, every CAREGiver we have been assigned has been prompt, hard-working, committed and, most importantly, caring! On top of that, the admin staff have bent over backwards to accommodate our needs, including last minute requests/alterations, with the minimum of fuss. Although I've tried (!) I can't recommend Home Instead enough. They are exemplary!

For the past year, my elderly mother has received care, twice daily, from a dedicated team at Home Instead Senior Care (South Devon). This support has enabled her to continue living independently and safely in her own home. She receives assistance with physical care, light housework, laundry, food shopping, preparation of meals and supervision with medications. Home Instead Senior Care (South Devon) also arrange all necessary GP/pharmacy liaison on behalf of my mother as I live abroad. My mother is treated respectfully and with kindness and likes the continuity of care by her 3 dedicated CAREGiverse. Home Instead Senior Care (South Devon) keep me updated by text and emails and regularly review the quality of service provided and the satisfaction of the clients. Overall, I have found the Home Instead Senior Care (South Devon) to be a reliable and professionally run organisation which we can trust to provide high-quality care and support for my mother. I would whole-heartedly recommend Home Instead Senior Care (South Devon) to others.

Home Instead provide a companionship service for my mum and I honestly cannot fault them. From our initial phone call to present day, they have been amazing. Mum's companion is like a breath of fresh air, she is so full of life and exactly what mum needs. Not only have they been fantastic with mum but also with me. My husband suffered a cardiac arrest suddenly and when I phoned the office to inform them so they could let mum's CAREGiver know, the lady I spoke to was fantastic, so kind and caring. It was just like speaking to a friend. Nothing is too much trouble and you just know you're in good hands.

My CAREGiver and his car are things I look forward to. Our trips out are humorous and stimulating. I feel safe and confident with my CAREGiver and enjoy stopping for coffee and feeling part of normal life again.

Home Instead arranged for a lady to visit my mother for 1 hour on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. This is first to relieve my mother's partner (& carer) so that he can do some jobs and have some time to himself and secondly to provide female company just for a chat. The lady who visits is lovely, my mother really looks forward to seeing her and enjoys her company. Home Instead did really well to provide just the right person, based on questions asked at the outset.

I have really appreciated such a warm and encouraging approach to care, within the training. The whole ethos seems to be on genuine caring and support for all involved within a very supportive team.

Home Instead Senior Care Paignton came to the rescue in July 15. I had over the years employed (on my Mum's behalf) several Personal Assistants but over time they had moved on to further their careers - although we still have one dedicated P A who has been with us for four years. I was very nervous about going to an Agency as I had heard many horror stories of people turning up late or not turning up at all - amongst other things. I had spent several months trying to find an agency that could "take us on" and then one day someone mentioned "Home Instead" who were just starting up in Torbay. I made contact with them that afternoon and they came to do an assessment that day. I was very impressed with their ethos and that the service they would provide would be tailor-made to suit Mum and I and that it would be truly personalised. They have more than lived up to this by providing lovely, regular, prompt, caring, dedicated, compassionate, well-suited, CAREGiver who we value enormously. The Director, Manager or Office staff are always available to sort out any queries of changes to care and take their time to ensure that an efficient and effective service is being delivered. We may well pay that little bit extra for the service but it is worth its weight in gold knowing that I and Mum can depend on them totally. As a full-time carer, this is a must - life is stressful enough as it is without the extra worry of "what time are they coming - if at all" or are they in such a rush that they can't deliver that personalised care that every cared for person and their carers deserve. So, in conclusion, a big Thank You to Home Instead for helping me to continue caring for Mum at home in her twilight years - the alternative would have been a Nursing home.
