At Home Instead Slough our care is centered around companionship care as part of your package. Many people think of care when they need help with personal care or medication, however most of our services are companionship based which involves someone to give you company with activities you like doing or need to do. This can be coming to have a cup of tea and a chat or accompanying you to an appointment. Our relationship led companionship care at home enables people to access community services with support or generally prevent isolation. Socializing is important for older people who are more at risk of isolation due to bereavement or living alone. Our team are great at making you feel like you are part of our Home Instead family.

Matching the right care professional to your personality and requirements is key for our service as this improves your outcomes. Consistency will improve your wellbeing so you can form a great relationship with the care professional who can understand your needs and fulfill them. Therefore, you will not have to explain things to different care professionals all the time. Our minimum 1-hour visit time allows the care professional to have the opportunity for a chat and give you the companionship that is much needed. We offer care that is not rushed or task focused because to us it’s personal. Our care professionals are always introduced to our clients before care commences so that both feel comfortable, and you know who will be visiting.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.
