Welcome to our New Senior CAREGiver Lisa!

We would like to welcome Lisa to the Home Instead Scarborough & Ryedale office.

At the age of 16, doing her work experience, Lisa already knew that a career in Care was for her and now she is really pleased and excited to have the opportunity to join Home Instead.

Lisa has grown her skills over the past 22 years from working with Clients at the end of their life to dashing around Scarborough to support people in their own homes maintaining their comfortable quality of life. She is keen to bring this experience to the team at Home Instead and is already looking forward to the challenges ahead as the business is growing so quickly.

Lisa is really passionate about knowing that her clients have everything they need and that she has the assurance of true person-centred care which is what we all want for our loved ones. Lisa has completely loved being a CAREGiver but her new role in supporting our CAREGivers out there in the field is one that she knows she can make her own. Using her knowledge and experience to give our team a good understanding of their role as a CAREGiver, she will also be able to give them confidence and the ability to grow into their role even more. It is important to Lisa that our staff don’t feel isolated as it can be a lonely job - In Lisa's words, "I want them to work as a team and always feel they have someone they can talk to."
