Dementia Awareness Day, May 21st 2018

Please join us on May 21st from 10.30am at this year’s Dementia Awareness Day, this is an opportunity for family, friends and carers to attend an informal day and obtain advice and information from organisations and representatives across the borough.

Anyone caring for someone with dementia can come and see how, collectively we help people to live well with dementia.

There will be professionals from Richmond Memory Service, The Alzheimer’s Society, Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare, Dementia Clinical Specialists, Carers UK, Richmond Carers Centre, Incontinence Team  and Home Instead Richmond and we will all be happy to advise you on how to access the services we offer.

There is also an informal talk about dementia progression around 12noon and an opportunity to view The Woodville Centre and the lovely sensory garden and see what we provide in a day care environment.

Refreshments and a buffet will be available throughout the day as well as a cake stall and plants for sale .

All are welcome to attend and we hope to see anyone who may be interested in knowing more about Dementia services

We look forward to seeing you.....

The day starts at 10.30am and runs through to 2.30pm at The Woodville Centre, Woodville Road, Ham, Richmond TW10 7QW.

Call the office if you would like to find out more.
