Robert is a talented contemporary artist based in Hampton who works with textiles. He uses embroidery, hand stitching, knitting and a sewing machine to create amazing pictures. He kindly turned our logo into a work of art as well!
Robert says his favourite pictures are city scapes as there is no room for error which makes it really challenging but Robert says "I love a challenge; I would try anything if it challenged me. The hardest piece I've done to date is New York Cityscape."
Robert has been working with two particular clients, one a former sculptor and the other, very interested in art, where he is able to build a strong relationship through their mutual appreciation of art.
Robert's work is on show at "But is it Art?" at 168 High Street, Teddington. You can see more of his work at www.facebook.com/robertbakamaartist
