Guaranteed Hours Contracts for our CAREGivers
At Home Instead Reigate & Tandridge our mission is to be the employer and provider of choice of care at home in the local area, based on a reputation for kindness and professionalism.
Professionalism encompasses many things but one of the most important is recognising our CAREGivers for the professionals that they are. Zero hours contracts are the norm within the care industry, but we are bucking the trend because this type of contract is not suitable or desirable for many people.
We wish to provide choice. To that end we are currently offering Guaranteed Hours Contracts to our CAREGivers based on the average hours worked over the last three months.
For new members to the team, we are offering 10, 16 or 30 hours per week contracts as appropriate. If a zero hours contract is more attractive, that is still an option.
In addition to Guaranteed Hours Contracts we are introducing an employee benefits scheme.
We truly value the work that our CAREGivers do, as do our clients. We want to attract and keep the very best people to Home Instead and these initiatives are examples of how we are fulfilling our mission to be the employer of choice.
