Home Instead has won a Silver Award for Best Place to Work in the prestigious UK Customer Experience Awards, which celebrate the very best in customer experience across all sectors.
Entering the awards gave Home Instead the chance to showcase our unique model of homecare, which puts our CAREGivers at the heart of everything we do.
We know that to deliver the best possible care to our clients, we need a highly committed workforce. By treating our CAREGivers with respect and maintaining an ongoing dialogue, we have been able to achieve unprecedented levels of staff retention in a sector where high staff turnover is the norm.
Our award entry highlighted our careful recruitment and training process - and the way that we listen to feedback from our CAREGivers.
A particular achievement was the development of the Alzheimer's Care Training programme, which was implemented as a direct result of CAREGiver feedback for additional skills to support them in their work.

The award follows hot on the heels of recent independent research which showed that 96% of our CAREGivers are proud to work for Home Instead, and 92% would recommend Home Instead as a place to work.
This in turn has led to impressive client satisfaction results, with 96% saying that their CAREGiver takes an interest in them as a person and 92% agreeing that they would recommend the company to a friend.
