At-home care company, Home Instead in St Albans has been short listed as a finalist for the prestigious Care Employer Award for less than 250 Employees. The award, which is part of the Great East of England Care Awards 2011, is to be announced on the 28th October 2011. The event is to be held at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford and the host for the awards evening will be TV presenter Andrew Castle.
Fiona Harrall, owner of Home Instead in St Albans and her team were picked for the short list and met with the judges on 29th September.
The award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate an employers’ commitment to care and how they are succeeding in delivering an excellent service.
The judges are looking for a sustained track record of delivering high quality care, whilst ensuring they are constantly improving their service. Creating a caring, professional environment for all of their staff and ensuring that all of their clients are treated with the dignity they deserve.
