Stay Nourished on the hottest day of the year.

This July saw some of the hottest weather this year and fortunately Paul Edden, Managing Director, was lucky enough to be invited to an air-conditioned Hanley library to provide advice and guidance to members of “The North Staffs Stroke Support Group” on staying nourished.

The North Staffs Stroke Support Group's aim is to encourage socialisation and help people move on - "there is life after stroke". Anyone who has had a stroke, or is a family member, carer or friend, is welcome to join this friendly group.

Everyone attending the group received Home Instead’s stay nourished booklet which provides tips and useful information about healthy eating in older age. One group member commented that the knowledge they had gained from Paul’s talk would be very helpful for both her and her husband.

Nutrition and hydration is just one of the ”free” talks available to local groups and societies.  To find out more contact 01782 622330 and ask to speak to Paul.
