“Remember Me”

This month (September) is World Alzheimer’s Month, an international campaign launched over six years ago, which takes place every September to raise awareness and challenges the misconceptions that surrounds dementia; the theme for this year is “Remember Me”. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, but what all forms of dementia have in common is a high risk of behavioural disorders - change in personality and people behaving out of character. This month we want to remember and support those who are living with dementia and those who care for people living with dementia.
