Pillars Of An Outstanding Service!

Our Managing Director, Paul Edden, presented at the Skills for Care National Conference in Birmingham yesterday – the theme for the conference was “Pillars of an outstanding service”.

This interactive event highlighted some examples of great practice and provided the opportunity to hear from managers and leaders about the secrets of some of the innovative projects and initiatives happening in the Midlands.

Paul presented the joint initiative with the North Staffordshire Clinical Commissioning Group, which our office is engaged with, to provide Amazon Alexa equipment within some of our client’s homes to help overcome isolation and loneliness.  The initiative also aims to help people “self manage” their health conditions by asking Alexa for advice, setting reminders to take medication and compiling lists of things that need to be done etc.

Paul presented to a packed audience who were very interested in assistive technology and the benefits this can bring to lonely and vulnerable people.
