Laing and Buisson have recently put together a CQC (Care Quality Commission) compliance league table which lists all home care providers as well as charities, to determine which organisation’s have performed well in terms of overall CQC compliance. To be CQC compliant means that all national standards are being met in terms of treating people with respect, providing people with the care they need, safeguarding people, correct staffing and management.
Home Instead has once again achieved a 1st place score on the league table with 93.9% of their franchises found to be CQC compliant. This means that out of 116 local Home Instead operations inspected by the CQC, 93.9% (including Home Instead Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke on Trent) are found to be CQC compliant. This independent survey proves that Home Instead’s quality of care at home has maintained its excellence nationwide.
Cheryl Harvey, Care Manager of the Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke on Trent offices said, "It is a fantastic achievement for Home Instead to come top in this survey once – but to do this again shows that our quality first approach to care at home is working well on a national scale. Home Instead in Newcastle and Stoke will always strive to maintain a high standard when it comes to home care".
