Home Instead is proud to acknowledge the achievements of all its CAREGivers over the past 12 months. Each CAREGiver is carefully chosen for their compassion, commitment and empathy in caring for adults within their own homes. At a recent team meeting, each CAREGiver was rewarded for their remarkable achievements in providing personalised care for older people within their own homes throughout the Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke on Trent areas.
One CAREGiver in particular, Sonia Bowers, has been rewarded for her outstanding contribution to Home Instead in since joining in July 2009.
Paul Edden commented that; “Sonia embraces everyone she meets with her smile. Her innate ability to accept and respect each person as an individual is a remarkable testament to her caring nature. She has consistently dedicated herself to creating a partnership of trust with her clients and co-workers alike."
From her first meeting with the Home Instead management team, Sonia was impressed. "I knew it was home. It felt like a family. They are so compassionate, caring and loving. Their approach to care was on the same path as mine, they aim to treat each client as if they were a member of their own extended family.”
Sonia sees herself working from the Home Instead for many years to come, serving as a trusted CAREGiver to ensure her clients and their families stay engaged in the art of living. "I always do the best I can for my client," Sonia said. "I know it's impossible to be perfect, but I am always striving to do better for others."
Sonia received an award from business owner Paul Edden as thanks for her achievements over the last 12 months.
