Care company say’s “you’re hired” to star apprentice

After appointing local girl Chelsea Mincher as an apprentice over the last 12 months, at-home care company Home Instead in Newcastle and Stoke, is thrilled to announce that Chelsea is the latest permanent member of the team.

Home Instead won, “The Realise Foundation Apprenticeship Award” at last year’s ‘Newcastle Business Boost’ which enabled them to take on an apprentice for a year. Having worked with nineteen year-old Chelsea Mincher from Lower Milehouse for 12 months, owners Paul and Sandra Edden did not want her to leave and offered her the position of office administrator.

Sandra takes up the story: “We are thrilled with how well Chelsea has fitted in at the office. She is conscientious, hard-working and proves just how much young people have to offer.”

Chelsea comments: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working at Home Instead for the past year. It has been great to meet new people and helping to provide care for others is really rewarding. I am really excited about taking on increased responsibility in my new, permanent role with the company and hope to continue building my career here with Home Instead.”
