Home Instead is crowned ‘5-star employer.’

We at Home Instead Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke on Trent have been declared a ‘5-star’ employer, showing that care is a worthwhile career path to take. Home Instead employees have commended the company due to factors such as top quality training opportunities and supportive leadership.

All Home Instead employees were invited to take part in an anonymous survey by independent employee engagement experts WorkBuzz. We are delighted to have received an impressive employee engagement score of 95%, a rating that few companies achieve.

Areas that employees were asked about included the career development on offer, the relationship with their managers and their day-to-day responsibilities.

The owners of Home Instead Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke on Trent, Paul and Sandra Edden, are calling for more people to come on board and join the team who have praised the company for being a supportive employer. There are ten caregiver vacancies on offer for people who want to begin or further a career in care.

In addition to the CAREGiver vacancies, there will be further opportunities for North Staffordshire residents as Home Instead has partnered with locally-based Acacia Training to launch a comprehensive and unique professional care workers training programme. The Professional Care Pathway has been designed to transform how home care workers are perceived, raising standards and providing professional qualifications to degree level and beyond.
