The Home Instead Swansea office officially opened on 1st March 2009 by Ben Ruddle. Ben was inspired to open a Home Instead office due to experiencing the poor level of care available to his 98 year old Grandfather who suffered from Dementia, which is a speciality for Home Instead.
His experience showed him that not only was the quality of the care poor, but it was task led rather than focusing on the individual and their needs. Ben saw that Home Instead’s compassionate, individualised approach to care was unique, and the quality of service was the number one priority.
This year we celebrated being open for 9 years, and are fast approaching the 10 year mark!
Recently National Office invited Ben to collect his 10 year award at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire with some other owners who have also reached the same milestone. They even got to do a Land Rover experience!
Our office started out with only a few people, with now an office of 12 people in total! We’ve done thousands of hours of care over the years, to some lovely clients and amazing CAREGivers.
Here’s to the next 10 years!
