The McEwans - A family Run Norfolk Care business

Jeannette McEwan joined the Home Instead Senior Care franchise network in 2008 after her own family member had personally experienced poor care, her mission was change the way that people were being cared for in Norfolk as they aged.

Present day Jeannette’s Son Tom McEwan is now Managing Director supported by his wife Laura, they support their three Home Instead Franchises, these are based in West Norfolk, Mid Norfolk and North Norfolk and employ over 160 CAREGivers! The secret to the success and growth? “We care for people in the same way we would like our own relatives cared for” says Tom.

Laura continues “Our office team and CAREGivers provide the best possible service for clients, we ensure that no corners are cut. All of the team truly believe the best place to be cared for where possible is people’s own homes where their safety & preferences can be catered for on a one to one basis”.

When not managing Home Instead Tom & Laura love to explore Norfolk with their 2 children, they are active members and trustees for local Dementia Friendly communities and while not doing all of that, Tom loves a round of Golf, while Laura is aiming for a new personal best time running. Meanwhile Jeannette loves spending time with her dog and visiting friends and family.
