Our Care Professionals gently encourage, prompt, and reassure clients, helping them feel comfortable and confident. Every visit is personalised to each individual, ensuring care is delivered with patience, respect, and understanding.

All of our Care Professionals are carefully recruited, fully employed, and receive extensive training in personal care, including washing, dressing, and mobility support. They are experienced in providing assistance in a dignified, respectful way, ensuring every client feels safe, valued, and supported.

We provide personal care services across St Austell, Bodmin, Wadebridge, Lostwithiel, Padstow, Tywardreath, and Fowey. Our local team ensures continuity of care, meaning clients are supported by familiar faces who know the area and the community.

At Home Instead, all Care Professionals are introduced to their clients before starting care. We provide a fully managed service, coordinating between clients, families, our office team, and healthcare professionals. This ensures that any issues or changes are addressed quickly, and every client receives consistent, high-quality support.

Costs start from £82.40 per week for two 1-hour visits, or £288 per week for a daily 1-hour visit. All Care Professionals are fully employed with guaranteed hours, pension, holiday, and sickness pay, giving families peace of mind that their loved ones are supported by a professional, reliable team.

Our fully managed service means our office team coordinates between clients, families, Care Professionals, and local healthcare professionals across Mid Cornwall. From GPs and nurses to community health teams, we ensure everyone is informed, and any issues are resolved promptly, so clients receive consistent, high-quality personal care at home.

We understand that it can be difficult accepting personal care and that is why you will be introduced to your Care Professionals and they will spend time getting to know you before assisting you with your personal care.

At Home Instead we ensure that each client has a small team of Care Professionals in place to provide you with care so you can be confident that you will have continuity from the same Care Professionals.

At Home Instead, we have a robust approach to ensuring that all Care Professionals have regular observations of practice that we call Support Visits, and assessments of competency for key activities such as handling medication or providing catheter care.
