Home Instead St Austell
We are recruiting Care Professionals in St Austell, Par, Tywardreath & Fowey areas. Our Local Vision is to Improve and Professionalise the Experience of Working in Care in Cornwall. We are doing this with improvements in pay -now £12.40 per hour, paid mileage, scheduled and paid 15 minute gaps between visits and increasing use of guaranteed minimum hour contracts. Moreover, we are always trying to improve our Training and Development to ensure the care we deliver is of the highest quality.
Our Training and Development Co-ordinator Rhiannon, is heading up these improvements and is currently working on our Parkinson’s course so will be able to deliver this in the coming months. For this year we are also working on improving our working patterns, blocking visits together to give better work patterns and enable our Care Professionals to provide more care.
We provide full and ongoing training leading to the care certificate and further with City and Guilds courses on Dementia and End of Life care. All will look to improve their care skills and help with fun activities to do with our wonderful clients.
