About Us

Home Instead Senior Care Maidstone is owned by local brothers Mark and Andy Craig. With offices set in the beautiful Kentish countryside the brothers have stayed true to their Maidstone roots. Born and raised in West Kingsdown, near Brands Hatch race track, the brothers have both remained living around Maidstone with their families.

Mark and Andy have been the owners of a successful frozen food and grocery home delivery service for older people for nearly 2 decades. During that time they have seen inconsistent and often very poor levels of care being provided to their customers in their own homes. They were aware that an increasing part of their delivery time was being dedicated to having a cup of tea and a chat with the customer.

In 2012 Mark met an inspirational couple, Trevor & Sam Brocklebank. Trevor and Sam Brocklebank founded Home Instead in the UK. Trevor’s family experienced great difficulty finding quality care for his grandfather, they wanted someone to visit Trevor’s grandfather for a few hours a day to provide help with cooking and cleaning, but such care was not available. Sam and Trevor knew there had to be a better way to provide care and brought Home Instead to the UK.

The brothers saw an opportunity with Home Instead Senior Care to provide a high quality, bespoke, Companionship care service that will make a real difference to the quality of people’s lives, focusing on the client and what they want and need in order to lead a happy and fulfilling life. Home Instead Maidstone was created.

The Home Instead Senior Care service is responsive and reliable, providing highly trained CAREGivers who are carefully matched to client’s needs. Providing a range of services from full personal care 7 days a week, helping with household chores and meal preparation a few times a week, to companionship for just a couple of hours a week, in fact whatever the client needs. All CAREGivers own their own car and are insured to take clients on trips to the shops, the theatre or any days out.

“I am so proud to be part of Home Instead"
