September Wellbeing Session For Home Instead CAREGivers
We are delighted to announce our first wellbeing session for all our CAREGivers will be kicking off on Tuesday 14th. September at 8pm with a wonderful 30min session with local acupressure practitioner Daria Masterman of www.aculives.com . Daria will be doing some relaxation breathing techniques followed by acupressure self-massage for de-stressing/invigorating and channel tapping for anxiety. So, a relaxing way to spend a little time in the evening. Some of us have had a few sessions with Daria - including acupuncture which worked like magic on a frozen shoulder - she is lovely, makes the sessions fun, relaxing and most importantly, her methods work!
For those who may not be too familiar with acupressure, it is the application of pressure (as with the thumbs or fingertips) to the same discrete points on the body stimulated in acupuncture that is used for its therapeutic effects (such as the relief of tension or pain).
To run this session, we need to have a minimum of 10 joining us, so please let us know if you would like to book your place by emailing [email protected] and we will send you the Zoom link. Please feel free to have your camera on or off for the session, whichever you are more comfortable with, but it will be a fun, friendly session and a nice opportunity to see everyone.
Home Instead Maidenhead, Henley & Wallingford are promising monthly wellbeing sessions available LIVE via Zoom to all our CAREGivers and office team, as a thank you for all the hard work and to help us all stay healthy and well, both physically and mentally, going forward. Sessions will be held once a month on a weekday, around 8pm and usually will last between 30-45mins – a wonderful way to unwind after the day.
For those who can’t make the session live, we will upload each month’s session onto our You Tube channel where it will be accessible for the rest of the month, until the next wellbeing session is recorded and released. And you can access this session as many times as you like.
