This month Home Instead Lytham are delighted to announce that Lois Pell has joined us as Community Development Officer. Lois has worked in the care and support industry for over 16 years and came to Home Instead following her own experiences of caring for her parents, both at home and within a care facility.

Her role will focus on building and maintaining relationships with our referral providers and developing Home Instead community links with a wide range of care and support services.  Lois will also be developing our information hub at Lytham Primary Care Centre, making it a focal point for our local community to learn more about the services we provide at Home Instead Senior Care and to offer support and advice on other issues involving care for the elderly and their families.

Lois is a keen supporter of the Dementia Friends initiative and volunteers as a Dementia Champion to encourage our community to be more dementia friendly and raise awareness of this condition.

Sophie Hoyle, Registered Manager commented, 'We are excited that Lois has joined the team at Home Instead Lytham, Fylde and Wyre. She shows a real passion for supporting older people particularly those with memory loss and dementia and is a great addition to our community team.'
