Thank you to everyone who came to see us at our Information Stall at Lowther Pavilion, Lytham which we held in conjunction with Help Direct to support Older Person’s Day.

Although the weather was grey and rainy many people turned out to visit the information stalls set up to provide advice and support to Older People and raise awareness for local services. We were joined by Trading Standards, Age UK, Local Council, YMCA, NHS, Fire Brigade, Care & Repair, Fylde 50+ Forum and the Police.

Home Instead Care Manager Sara Beardall commented;

‘Despite the weather, today has been a resounding success and we have enjoyed chatting to many local residents in Lytham and St Annes. There is a fantastic support network for the elderly on the Fylde Coast and it is very important to me that we link in where we can and ensure those people that need our help find out about us.’

Going forward, Home Instead Senior Care Lytham will be hosting a larger community information event in the New Year that will include over 20 different local support agencies and charities in the area. It will include information talks on everything from health and wellbeing and carer support to falls prevention.
