To show our support for the Poppy Appeal 2012 the Home Instead Senior Care Team in Lytham hosted a coffee and cake morning at The Bond Hotel in St Annes.

We were delighted to be joined by members of the Royal British Legion and Leah Rickards from The Admiral Nurses. St Annes British Legion President, Spencer Leader M.B.E., stopped by along with the Secretary, David Hoskinson, who took some of our tasty cakes to the volunteers selling Poppy’s in Lytham Square.

Home Instead Senior Care Manager Sara Beardall remarked, ‘I am thrilled we were able to raise some money and join together to recognise all those who have served our country. It was a busy morning and we even had a surprise visit from the sun overlooking the promenade which was fantastic. I would like to say a big thank you to all those who came along on the day especially to Dorothy one of our wonderful CAREGivers who baked us the tastiest cakes on the Fylde Coast!’
