On Wednesday, 20th July, we held a very special Afternoon Tea Party for our lovely clients at the Assembly Rooms in Lytham, with our special guest Mayor Christine Akeroyd.

The party was in honour of Her Majesty the Queen's 90th birthday and also to celebrate the award the Queen bestowed on the Home Instead Senior Care network on the occasion of her 90th birthday. Our network received the Queen's Awards for Enterprise for Innovation in the quality of our Home Care delivery. We are absolutely thrilled to be part of the network that has achieved this prestigious award and wanted to share this special news with all of our lovely clients - and what better way than by holding a traditional English afternoon tea party!!

We had a fabulous turn out: the weather was a little cooler than previous days (fortunately); we enjoyed some great refreshments, some of which were provided by our fab CAREGivers and we had some wonderful entertainment from Louise Roberts who sang some specially selected songs. We then had some fun with a Royal Quiz and then ended the afternoon with our own version of Last Night of the Proms - with plenty of flag waving and even a little dancing! We even sang Happy Birthday to our dear client Doreen. Everyone was in fine voice....

At Home Instead Senior Care we love to care and yesterday was a perfect opportunity to show just how much and we all had a great time. We know from the smiles on the faces of our guests, and the comments they made as they were leaving, that they had a great time too....
