Our Community Development Co-ordinator Lois was delighted to attend the first Fylde Coast Dementia Hub at Clifton Hospital, Lytham on Thursday, 16th February.
These events are being held to provide local information in one friendly place to people affected by dementia or worried about their memory.
It was a wonderful opportunity to network with other specialist services and meet old and new friends! It's always good to participate in activities at Clifton where Sister Linda and team always give me a warm welcome.
The event was officially opened by John Barnett MBE DL, the High Sheriff of Lancashire, together with his wife Danielle. We shared stories of being honoured by HM Queen Elizabeth and how especially proud Home Instead Senior Care are to be carrying the Queen's emblem following our Queens Award for Enterprise 2016.
Next Fylde Coast Dementia Hub at Clifton Hospital is May 18th - see you there!
