On Wednesday 8th October Home Instead Lytham were proud to hold a Celebration Afternoon Tea at the Assembly Rooms, Lytham for some of our fantastic CAREGivers. The lovely CAREGivers in attendance have all successfully completed their QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care and we were delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress of Fylde, Councillor Peter Hardy and Mrs Sheila Hardy to present them with their certificates. As part of our Training Academy's excellent partnership with Blackpool and the Fylde College in continuing the professional development of our work force we were also delighted to welcome Margaret Bamforth, Head of School, Society and Childhood and her colleagues, Janice and Susan are Lecturer/Assessors for the QCF qualification. It was a wonderful afternoon spent celebrating the hard work and dedication of our CAREGivers in becoming the best that they can be. We look forward to many more celebrations like this as part of our ongoing commitment to staff training over the coming months.
