Local at-home care company, Home Instead Senior Care, who provides care to clients living in their own homes in Lytham, Fylde &Wyre recently spread the festive cheer and hosted 2 Christmas parties for their clients and CAREGivers.
One Christmas party was held at St Joseph’s Church Hall in Ansdell and the second party took place at Poulton Methodist Church Hall. Several family members as well as Home Instead office staff were also present to help run the festive events.
A lovely meal of a homemade hot pot and cheese and onion pie was served at the parties, together with mince pies and other lovely cakes. In addition to eating a hearty, nutritious meal, the party goers were treated to a delightful performance from the children at Happy Days Nursery, Ansdell and Poulton.
Furthermore, local, retired entertainer, Ronnie Ray offered provided more musical entertainment at both parties, after reading about the events in the local paper.
All clients were given the chance to win raffle prizes and gifts, and every child who attended the parties received a lovely present as well.
Owner of Home Instead Senior Care, Sophie Hoyle commented, “Both of the Christmas parties that we recently held for our clients were wonderful. It was so lovely to see them all enjoying a lovely meal, chatting, and enjoying the entertainment.
“A big thank you must go to the children at Happy Days for providing the entertainment as well as Ronnie Ray and our lovely CAREgiver Barbara who prepared all of the food.”
