Home Instead Senior Care in Lytham is delighted to share the feedback from our latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection report. The report is a true reflection of the high standards and quality of care we provide at Home Instead. We were inspected on the following standards:
- Treating people with respect and involving them in their care
- Providing care, treatment and support that meets people's needs
- Caring for people safely and protecting them from harm
- Quality and suitability of management
Not only are we compliant in all areas of the inspection, we received no recommendations and no suggestions of any areas for improvements.
Below are some of the excellent comments and feedback we received from the inspector, clients and CAREGivers:
One person we spoke with said, ‘’Mum is their prime concern, I know she is in safe hands.’’
People who use the service told us they were happy with the support they received. One person said, ‘‘I wouldn’t change a thing’’.
People we spoke with also confirmed they were fully involved in decision making about the care and support they received and were very happy with the level of service they were receiving. They also felt comfortable with the staff. One person said ‘’I can relax entirely because I know I’m in safe hands.’’
We were told the staff were always polite and courteous when they visited and people believed they were treated with dignity and respect.
CAREGivers said, ‘’Our visits are never rushed, we do things at the client’s pace’’.‘’The training is excellent. The induction was through and presented very well’’. This meant people in their care were being supported by a well trained and competent staff team."
Care Manager Angela Baxendale commented, ‘’At Home Instead Lytham we strive to provide the highest quality companionship and care to all our clients. The fantastic comments and feedback we have received from this inspection are a testament to our wonderful CAREGivers and office team. They always work tirelessly to ensure our clients receive personalised support tailored to their individual needs and lead a happy, enjoyable life with someone they can trust and rely on.’’
The Care Quality Commission inspect all companies who provide home care services for older people to ensure they are meeting the required standards of care and welfare.
