CAREGiver Training Academy launched in Lytham

This week we were delighted to announce the official launch of the Home Instead Training Academy in partnership with local further education college Blackpool and The Fylde College. The Training Academy will provide a fantastic range of training and support to all of our current and new CAREGivers.  We always seek to provide the best quality service for our clients by ensuring all of our CAREGivers receive the necessary support and training they require. We will therefore be offering a range of training and qualifications including:

-       Alzheimer’s CARE Programme (City & Guilds Accredited)

-       QCF Level 2 and 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care

-       QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care

-       Client specific training

-       Various management and personal skills training

Newly appointed Training & Recruitment Co-ordinator Kim Morrison said, ‘‘We are excited to be working with Blackpool and The Fylde College to develop our new Training Academy, to ensure all our CAREGivers are fully supported in the fantastic work they do in our community. This will bring all the training in house and allow us to monitor the quality of training our CAREGivers receive to ensure it is of the highest standard. Blackpool and The Fylde College have been providing high quality training and courses for nearly 50 years. They have a team of experts with a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise in Health & Social Care, so we are very happy to be working with them.’’
