Self Isolation Support Service

Have you or one of your loved ones been advised to self isolate?

We understand the concept of self isolating for prolonged periods may seem daunting but our professional CAREGivers can be the vital link between you, your loved ones and independence

We want to use our experience of being the leading home care company to provide the very best at home service and support to those staying at home. This is vital to ensure people do not feel isolated as this can have a negative impact on well being. Some of the services we can provide as part of our self isolation package include the following:

- Weekly activity box to include newspaper, jigsaws, crosswords, painting by numbers, books, knitting etc

- Shopping service including shopping list compilation, collecting shopping and putting it away at home

- Daily welfare / social phone calls to maintain friendship and companionship with others

- Medication collection

- Video Link hardware to keep in touch with family members and friends

- Posting and collecting mail

- Any other urgent supplies

If you are interested in this service which starts from as little as £60 per week please contact our friendly office team on 01253 359 166 and we will be happy to help.

In addition to the self isolation package we are still providing our full range of in home care services. Please be assured that during this difficult time we have robust infection control systems in place to protect of CAREGivers and our Clients - further information on this is below.

At Home Instead Senior Care, the health and safety of our clients, CAREGivers and staff is our number one priority.

As older people are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19, we want to reassure our teams and the clients we care for that we are monitoring the situation closely to help manage risks of spreading the virus.

Our CAREGivers are professionally trained and undergo comprehensive training in infection control, and we have also advised them to follow industry guidance on hygiene from the UK’s Public Health Authorities and World Health Organisation, particularly focussed around handwashing and other hygiene measures include wearing Personal Protective Equipment.

To ensure the highest standard of care is always being delivered in our office, we utilise the quality assurance team and medical professionals at our national office for advice and guidance.

We’ll continue to follow direction provided by the UK’s Public Health Authorities and World Health Organisation and keep a close eye on the situation, working closely with organisations such as the UK Home Care Association, Age UK and other care providers.

I’m committed to ensuring that our clients can remain safe and cared for at home throughout this challenging time.
