To us it's personal

For many of our clients in Witney, the companionship that comes with live-in care matters just as much as the practical support. Having someone there to chat to, share meals with and enjoy the day with can make a real difference. A Care Professional can also help with things like preparing a nutritious meal, getting up and dressed in the morning or remembering to take medication. This can be particularly reassuring after a stay in hospital, when a little more help may be needed while someone gets back on their feet. Staying connected to life in Witney is important too. You might head into town together for the twice-weekly market, stop for a coffee near Market Square, or travel together to collect a prescription or get to a GP appointment. Having a Care Professional live with you means these familiar outings do not have to stop simply because someone needs more support.

Choosing Home Instead Witney for personalised home care

One of the many benefits of live-in care is consistency from the support of the same Care Professional each day. They learn how you like things done, and you build a relationship with someone you know and trust. Your Care Professional works an agreed daily pattern, usually eight to ten hours with breaks, and sleeps in the home overnight, so help is close by if it is ever needed. They have their own bedroom, and practical details such as meals are agreed with you at the start. Most of our clients in Witney are supported by two Care Professionals, who take it in turns to live in for a few weeks at a time. Both get to know you well, and our local team arranges cover if either is ever unavailable. Care continues without interruption.

Our Witney Team is With You Through Every Step

Because our team is local, everything about your care is managed close to home. Our team oversees the whole arrangement, visits regularly, and adjusts the support smoothly whenever your needs change, so nothing is left for the family to organise alone. Being local brings practical advantages too. We know the GPs, pharmacies and district nurses in the area, and we can even call on trusted local tradespeople if something in the house needs fixing. For clients whose family live further away, knowing there is a capable team nearby, handling whatever comes up, is an enormous reassurance. We also share updates with relatives as often as they would like. Every Care Professional is employed, trained and supervised by us. Each one is fully DBS checked and completes thorough training before their first placement. We are also regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission, so our standards are independently checked.
