We are led by Sharmila and Kishore, a local couple well-known throughout Hythe and Ashford for their dedicated community work and genuine passion for elder care. Our team is anchored by Carina, our Registered Care Manager, who brings over a decade of care management experience and a deep understanding of dementia support needs. Our Care Professionals receive training in dementia care, including practical techniques for communication, managing behavioural changes, and creating meaningful moments that make all the difference in the quality of care we provide. This deep understanding is matched by the local partnerships that strengthen our dementia support across Hythe. We work closely with Hythe's GP practices and the memory assessment services at Kent and Medway NHS, ensuring smoother access to clinical support when needed. Our team regularly attends Kent Dementia Action Alliance meetings, bringing the latest insights in dementia care back to our community. We're also launching a local Dementia Café in the region, a warm, welcoming space where people affected by dementia and their carers can enjoy activities, friendship, and support.
