Choosing Home Instead Hill Head for personalised home care
Our support extends beyond the home, helping clients in Hill Head stay connected with their community. We regularly accompany clients to local dementia-friendly locations like Lee-on-Solent beach for invigorating walks with spectacular Solent views, or to enjoy fish and chips at the seafront. Our Care Professionals often support visits to local parks and organised events, where clients can enjoy activities, conversation and companionship in supportive environments. For those who love nature, a stroll outside can provide a calming sensory experience that many of our clients with dementia particularly appreciate.
In Hill Head, our care is led by Rainbow, our experienced operations manager whose warmth and professionalism ensure every family feels supported from the start. She brings clarity, compassion, and a deep knowledge of what excellent dementia care looks like. Our Managing Director, Paul Fray, has a personal connection to our work, his father-in-law received care from Home Instead for five years, shaping Paul's passion for delivering consistently high standards. Andrea, who leads our dementia training, began as a Care Professional herself and now ensures our team is fully equipped with the empathy and skills to deliver outstanding, person-centred support.
This person-centred approach is reflected in the community initiatives we run across Fareham and Gosport. We host two monthly Memory Cafés, one in Wickham and another in Lee-on-Solent, featuring topical activities that recently included celebrating William Wordsworth's birthday and Easter festivities. Our popular "Singing to Remember" sessions bring joy once a month, with participants enjoying familiar tunes from the 50s, 60s, and 70s that often spark wonderful memories and conversations. The Home Instead team recently completed Dementia UK's March Dog Walking Challenge, raising £625 for this vital cause, and we're already planning our next fundraising event with Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW.
We deliver tailored home care to the Hill Head community to nurture wellbeing and independence.
We adapt our services to fit your life, delivering compassionate, consistent, and attentive care, enabling you to thrive in your home and community.
