Our Care Professionals regularly accompany clients to local dementia-friendly venues, such as organised events and day services, where they can enjoy companionship in safe, sociable surroundings. Many of our clients look forward to strolls along Stokes Bay promenade, where the sea air and beautiful views provide gentle stimulation and connection to the local area they know and love. We also support visits to Alverstoke Village’s community spaces and local cafés where staff understand dementia, creating positive experiences that maintain your loved one’s sense of belonging in their community.
Our Alverstoke Team is With You Through Every Step
Our Gosport and Fareham team is led by Rainbow, our operations manager, with years of experience and a deep commitment to quality care. She brings both knowledge and empathy to her role, ensuring families feel supported every step of the way. Our Managing Director, Paul Fray, has personal experience with Home Instead's care, as his father-in-law was supported by our team for five years. That experience shaped his passion for maintaining outstanding standards and making sure every client receives the same high level of care. Training is led by Andrea, a former Care Professional who now delivers our City & Guilds Assured dementia training.
This personal commitment carries through into how active we are across the local community. Our team are very active in the local community of Alverstoke and the wider area. We regularly host two memory cafés, one in Wickham and another in Lee-on-Solent. These feature activities that recently included celebrations of William Wordsworth's birthday, Easter festivities, and highlights of International Women's Day. Our popular "Singing to Remember" sessions bring joy through music once a month, where our lovely clients and community members enjoy familiar tunes from the 50s, 60s, and 70s in a supportive environment. We're very proud to have recently raised £625 for Dementia UK through their walking challenge, and we're planning additional fundraising in partnership with Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW.
We deliver tailored home care to the Alverstoke community to nurture wellbeing and independence.
We adapt our services to fit your life, delivering compassionate, consistent, and attentive care, enabling you to thrive in your home and community.
