We create a personalised care plan for you based on an initial consultation in your home, where we discuss your specific needs, routines, preferences, medication support, and more. We also conduct a thorough risk assessment to ensure your environment is safe and make any suggestions we feel might support you well at home. Your Care Support Manager will introduce you to your Care Professional during their first visit and go over the care plan to ensure everything is clear and everyone happy. To ensure your care continues to meet your needs, your Care Support Manager will maintain regular contact with you. This ongoing communication allows us to adjust your care as needed, ensuring it remains safe and effective.
We have an amazing team of Care Professionals, personally chosen for you in terms of personality, knowledge and experience. Our team undergo a rigorous recruitment process, including a DBS police check and professional and personal references, as well as our "mum test", ensuring new team members share our values, are caring, compassionate, trustworthy and respectful. All team members have a full three day initial theory and practical training. Many specialise in Dementia, with a majority of our team taking the City & Guilds accreditation in Dementia care and support. We are proud to say that many of our clients say our Care Professionals become like part of the family. Our Care Professionals can also drive you to social or support groups in and around Henley. Staying connected to your community is essential, and getting out and about plays a crucial role in maintaining those connections. We often take clients to the groups at Christ Church in Henley, as well as the ever popular Over 60's club. Henley also has an Over 65's pool club. Whether these groups meet during the day or evening, we're happy to accompany clients, take them home, and ensure they have everything they need for a comfortable and peaceful evening before we leave.
