When care begins, our Care Manager Claire or our Care Coordinator Libby from Fowey visits to create a bespoke care plan tailored to each person’s needs and wishes. We don’t wear uniforms, as they can create a barrier to building genuine relationships. Alongside health, medication, and mobility assessments, we take time to learn each client’s life story-their favourite meals, routines, and activities. Outings are encouraged, supporting mobility, connection, and overall wellbeing. Gemma, one of our wonderful Care Professionals, regularly accompanies Bill to Haveners on Fowey Town Quay. She’s also taken him to lunch at The The Rashleigh Inn, Polkerris , where they enjoy the view over Polkerris Beach and chat about times gone by.
