Your Care Professional will come to know your preferences, from mealtimes to the hour you like to start the day. Because they share the home with you, they will notice if you seem not quite yourself or are eating less, and will raise it with your family or GP before it becomes anything more. Our live-in care is completely tailored around your needs and preferences. Your Care Professional will usually work between eight and ten hours, and they sleep at the house in a bedroom of their own, so someone is nearby overnight. If care is needed regularly through the night, we will discuss with you how best to arrange it. Longer-term live-in care is usually shared between two Care Professionals, who each live in for a few weeks at a time, and we plan each handover with care. We arrange cover whenever one of them is away.
