We are led by Mark and Andy Craig, who established Home Instead Maidstone in 2012, bringing their complementary skills from retail/hospitality and IT project management to create a person-centred care service. Our team includes Registered Care Manager, Sara, a dementia specialist with degree-level qualifications, who ensures our care plans are expertly tailored to each individual's journey with dementia. Together, we ensure our Care Professionals receive comprehensive dementia training that goes far beyond industry standards. This community focus is reflected in the strong connections we hold across Bearsted and the surrounding area. We work closely with "Building a Dementia Friendly Maidstone," where our Director Mark volunteers as treasurer, helping to create a more inclusive community for everyone affected by dementia. Our Care Professionals regularly attend local dementia-friendly cafés with clients, creating opportunities for meaningful social interactions in supportive environments. We've developed strong relationships with memory clinics and specialist healthcare providers across Maidstone, ensuring a coordinated approach to care that adapts as needs change.
