Rory Clarke - Owner

I’m Rory, and I’m excited to welcome you to Home Instead Littlehampton Arundel and Goring-by-Sea.  I’m very proud to be bringing great care to this part of West Sussex and to be contributing to a community that has so much to offer.  I really want to make a difference to the lives of older people by ensuring that everyone can access the care they need to remain independent and enjoy great quality of life.

I came to Home Instead after a busy career working as a barrister.  I saw how easily older people can get isolated, so I decided to do something about it and quit to join Home Instead.   When I’m not running around after my three young kids I like to get out and enjoy the beautiful West Sussex countryside either cycling or bobbing around on the water in boats of all kinds.

I feel very lucky to have found Home Instead, and it feels like being part of a really happy family.

We are always looking for new CAREGivers to join our team so if you feel you have a caring nature please get in touch on 01903 331 366.  We’d love to talk to you!

Ali Evans Caregiver Experience Lead

Hi, I am Alison

I am the CAREGiver Experience Lead

I joined Home Instead Littlehampton, Arundel and Goring-by-Sea in March 2020 after previously working at the Chichester office for 2 years. My career started in Nursing working in Orthopaedics and then supporting children with complex learning and physical disabilities. After having my own children I then continued to work with children with special needs within a school environment among other roles within the care sector.

I am passionate about the values of Home instead and find it very rewarding supporting our clients to remain as independent as possible within their own home. I am proud to be part of a strong team who are always prepared to go above and beyond to ensure our clients receive the best support possible. As the moto says “To us it is personal”.

Working for Home Instead has given me the opportunity to further my career and knowledge in areas that are important to me including achieving the City & Guilds accredited Home Instead Dementia Train the Trainer Certificate, Moving & Handling Train the Trainer Certificate, Basic Life Support Train the Trainer Certificate and the Gold Standard Framework for End of Life Care. I really enjoy being able to share this knowledge and support CAREGivers with their role.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with the family and going for long walks in the countryside. When able I also like to travel, especially to Spain.

Emily Shaw Client Experience Lead

Hi my name is Emily,

I am the Client Experience Lead.

I have recently joined Home Instead. I have worked within care for over 10 years. I started my career as a Learning Support Assistant in a school. I then went on to have my first child Faye. I restarted my career getting a position working with adults with complex learning disabilities. I moved from there to Littlehampton and started my journey as a Senior Care Assistant in a care home providing around the clock care to the clients within the home.

I then had my second child Phoebe. I went to progress in my career and became a falls champion. I spent a year working as a Field Care Supervisor and loved being out in the field with the clients and carers. I am looking to start my level 4 in Care and Management.

I enjoy socialising with my friends over a glass of Moscato and a nice slice of cake.

Administrative Assistant

Hi I am Freya,

I am the Administrative Assistant for Home Instead Littlehampton, Arundel, and Goring by sea.

I joined in April 2021 after previously working at the Brighton office for a year. I found my passion for working in care at a young age when I cared for my Grandma who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. I have had lots of experience working in various environments in the care sector. I started my first job in a local care home whilst I was studying hard for my NQV Level 3 in Health and Social Care and Biology. I then worked at Worthing hospital for four years as a Healthcare Assistant on several busy wards, providing care and support for patients with a diverse range of illnesses and individual needs. Then I decided to join Home Instead to develop my career!

I feel proud to be a part of the team here at Home Instead, they have excellent values and always deliver the highest quality of person-centred care to their clients which I find very rewarding.

In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends & family and going for walks along the beach with my miniature dachshund. I also like to travel and discover different cultures across the world (and taste the different foods of course!).

Hi I'm Sara!

I joined Home Instead in March 2021 as the Recruiter.

I am just returning to work after having my little boy who has now turned 5 and happily at school. I've been working in recruitment for 15 years. I finally feel like the people I recruit are generally making a difference. I feel extremly passionately about the roles as carers and feel so pleased to work with such inspiring people.

I have had a number of personal experiences regarding care and feel very passionate about finding the right candidates for the roles.

I love spending time with my family, we are often found on the beach or walking around the South Downs. Please do get in touch if you are interested in hearing about any roles. We are always looking for compassionate and loyal CAERGivers.
