'Certificate of Recognition' awarded to Gill Bishop from Home Instead Senior Care

Our Community Engagement Officer, Gill Bishop has recently been awarded a ‘Certificate of Recognition’ from Suffolk Trading Standards. Gill has been raising awareness about scams by delivering awareness talks in the local community.

These talks are delivered by Gill in a way that could be understood by the elderly and not alarm them unnecessarily.

Influenced and deeply moved by the “Think Jessica” campaign, Gill felt that we were ideally placed to reach out to our local community, and, utilising a scam protection toolkit, took the initiative to start delivering her own talks.

Chris Lye, business owner said “Since starting the initiative 3 years ago, Gill has presented to more than 3000 local people. I would like to congratulate Gill on such an amazing achievement and thank her for being such an asset to our team.”
