Home Instead Celebrates Women in Franchising

This year marked a significant milestone as, for the first time, EWiB (Encouraging Women in Business) and the EWiF (Encouraging Women into Franchising) Awards joined forces to host a combined celebration recognising the achievements of women across franchising and the wider business community. The event brought together inspiring women from across the UK to celebrate innovation, leadership and success. 

Recognising outstanding leadership 

Karina Brown, franchise owner of Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst and Orpington was shortlisted in the Woman Franchisee of the Year Category, recognised for her compassion, innovation and an unwavering commitment to her clients, team and community. 

Karina first became a Home Instead franchisee in June 2013 and was the highest performing office in 2025 across the home care company’s entire network of 265+ franchise territories, delivering care to over 150 clients across the local community. 

Celebrating women in business and franchising 

The combined EWiF and EWiB Awards celebrated women making an impact across all areas of business, from franchising and entrepreneurship to leadership and innovation. The event highlighted the growing influence of women across the UK franchise landscape and recognised those helping to inspire the next generation of female franchisees.
