A double whammy of Home Instead CQC Outstanding ratings

North Norfolk

Two of our franchise offices, North Norfolk and Mid Cornwall, have been given an Outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), a status held by only around 3% of home care companies.

Our North Norfolk office has accomplished something less than 1% of home care companies achieve: an Outstanding rating in all five categories (safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led), highlighting an exceptionally high standard of care. They are the only home care company in Norfolk with this status.

Hazel Roberts, CQC deputy director of adult social care in the east of England, said: “Everyone working at Home Instead North Norfolk should feel responsible for this outstanding rating, and proud of the work they do for people. We hope other providers look to this report as an example, to promote learning across the sector.”

In inspecting the Mid Cornwall office, the CQC praised many things, not least how the company promotes independence for local older people, giving them the choice and control over their own health and wellbeing.

Stefan Kallee, CQC’s deputy director of adult social care for the South West, said: “Everyone at Home Instead Mid Cornwall should be proud of this outstanding rating. Other adult social care services can look to this report to see what ‘outstanding’ looks like in a homecare setting.”

We’re proud to be the home care company with more Outstanding ratings than any other, with 84 of our franchise offices currently holding this rating.
