Embarking on your journey to own afranchiseresale may seem daunting, but we’ve simplified the process to ensure a smooth and transparent transition for every prospective franchisee.
If you’re interested in acquiring a franchise for resale, your first step is simply to register your interest. Once you reach out, you’ll need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), as all of our businesses are marketed confidentially. Once signed, you’ll receive a comprehensive franchise resale prospectus outlining key details of the opportunity. Concurrently you’ll be learning about the brand and the business, by attending an Open Day, speaking to franchisees and meeting the selling franchise owner. From here, you’ll create a business and financial plan, with our support, and meet our executive team – to ensure a strong match on culture, values and ambition.
Upon a successful application, you’ll make an informal offer. The parties then negotiate and agree on the Heads of Terms, which define the principal terms of the sale. The process moves forward with all involved parties—including Home Instead National Office —appointing specialist franchise solicitors, who will be agreeing the formal Sale & Purchase Agreement. We recommend seeking independent legal and financial advice and can provide preferred legal, financial and operational contacts who understand the sector and our specific model exceptionally well.
With the agreement finalised, all parties set a completion date. On this day, both the agreed purchase price and the franchise fee are paid. You’ll then receive full induction and ongoing support from our National Office team, ensuring a confident start as you step into your new homecare franchise. You’ll join a network renowned for its integrity, clear processes, and robust support—positioning you for success in the market. Our transparent, structured resale process ensures every new franchisee is set up for long-term achievement and satisfaction within our rapidly growing network.
