Financial Projections

 

Due to the unique set up of our model, Home Instead franchisees enjoy sustained growth year on year.

More than a third of our franchisees turnover £1million a year and our highest achieving owners are turning over between £2.5million and £3million per year. We would expect an established office to achieve an operating profit (before franchise owner earnings) of c. 15-20%.

A market share of just 0.5% of older people in your territory can potentially produce annual revenues of £1.1 million.

Home Instead has only been established in the UK since 2005. Based on the experience of Home Instead in other countries we anticipate that as our brand becomes even more established, we can significantly increase revenues.

Please note that we are unable to guarantee any level of financial achievement, as individual franchisee performance will have a significant influence on the success of the franchise. We will work with you to develop a detailed business model for your chosen franchise area.

 

Investment

For a new franchise our franchise fee is £41,000 (ex. VAT) with an ongoing royalty fee of 6.5% (ex. VAT). We anticipate the total investment required is between £90,000 and £110,000, which includes working capital and the franchise fee.

If you are considering a resale the franchise fee is £20,500 (ex. VAT) with an ongoing royalty fee of 6.5% (ex. VAT). This is additional to the price the current franchise owner is selling their business for. Please see our resales page for more information.

Funding

We have established relationships with particular high street banks who have a strong understanding of the franchise sector. As Home Instead is a proven model, with over 200 successful franchises, these banks will look to fund up to 70% of the total investment required for new franchises and 80% of the total investment over a longer period for a resale. This is a great testament to the brand and the opportunity.
