New dementia-friendly club for Farnborough.
We were very excited about the launch of MEMORY LANE FARNBOROUGH in February. It's a new dementia-friendly club which will run monthly on the first Friday of each month in North Camp. Please see the dates for 2020 below (although please note that the April date has been postponed).
The new cafe will provide an opportunity for those living with dementia, and their carers, to meet others, enjoy refreshments and participate in a programme of activities which are appropriate to their needs. The programme, to include entertainers, instructors and speakers, is currently being developed.
Memory Lane Farnborough takes place on the first Friday of each month between 2pm-4pm at the Masonic Lodge, Alexandra Road, North Camp, Farnborough GU14 6BS. The cost is £4 per person, which includes refreshments and carers are welcome to attend too, free of charge. Please book in advance on 01252 758716 or email [email protected]
Parking is available in the large car park at the side of the Masonic Lodge, which gives easy access to the event.
Memory Lane is brought to you by Home Instead, and Brendoncare Clubs, a charity dedicated to organising clubs to support the well-being of older people.
